Pumpkins

Halloween here in England is not like it is in America, at least that's what Mummy tells me. Still, I wanted to get into the spirit of Autumn, so we descided to carve a pumpkin. I didn't really know what to expect, so I stuck my spoon in, and discoverd, slimy grossness! That was the end of my pumpkin carving. Mummy finished the rest. I did enjoy the finished product though.

Rub-a-Dub-Dub

I know it's been a long time since I've posted anything, but it's not my fault. The memory card on our camera broke and Mummy and Daddy took forever to get a new one. But they did at last, so here is a little video of me enjoying one of my favourite things, bathtime!
For a little challenge count how many animal sounds you can hear.

On My Own Two Feet

I have been walking for a few weeks now, but I don't often let Mummy video me. I didn't really want her to this time, that is why I am coming to get the camera.

Happy Birthday to Me!

That's right, I am now one year old. I can't believe how fast my first year of life has gone. I am not a baby anymore, I am a little girl.

I had fun opening all my presents and I had cake and ice cream for the very first time. You can tell by the look on my face how much I liked it.

Two days after my actual birthday I had a party with my friend, Lauren, who was born on the same day as me. There were lots of people there and they all sang "Happy Birthday" to us. It was fun having someone to share your birthday with.

London Town

My Grandma from America came for a visit this week so she could be here for my birthday. She has been to England a few times now and has never been to London so we thought we would go for the day and see the sights. We took the train down to the city and then got on the Tube to go to the Londond Eye. That is nowmy favourite thing in the whole world! I loved looking down at the river and seeing all the boats. They looked so small from way up there and it made me feel like a giant. I wasn't scared at all.
After going on the Eye we took a walk through St. James's Park to Buckingham Palace. We went through a little of Hyde Park and then took the Underground to Oxford Circus and popped into some of the shops. Before we knew it, it was time to come home. It was a really great day and I can't wait to go back and explore the rest of the city.

Springtime

Spring here in England hasn't been that great so far, but it was sunny enough today that Mummy let me go outside to play. I had never been allowed to play on the grass before. I loved it! I didn't get to stay out very long because it started to rain but Mummy promised I could play outside again soon.

Just Because

There's no special reason for this post, other than I look cute in these pictures so I thought I'd put them on for you to see.

A Whole New World

When I turned six months old Mummy started feeding me different kinds of food. Not too much at first, but now that I am almost eight months I have been eating a lot more. There are so many tastes and textures out there, and I love them all! Mummy feeds me a lot of vegetables and tells me that I eat better than she and Daddy do. I have a few teeth so I can chew soft things like bread, but I can't wait until I have some more so I can eat harder things like cookies.

eating is fun! If you look close you can see my teeth.

I can drink from a cup too!
