London Town

My Grandma from America came for a visit this week so she could be here for my birthday. She has been to England a few times now and has never been to London so we thought we would go for the day and see the sights. We took the train down to the city and then got on the Tube to go to the Londond Eye. That is nowmy favourite thing in the whole world! I loved looking down at the river and seeing all the boats. They looked so small from way up there and it made me feel like a giant. I wasn't scared at all.
After going on the Eye we took a walk through St. James's Park to Buckingham Palace. We went through a little of Hyde Park and then took the Underground to Oxford Circus and popped into some of the shops. Before we knew it, it was time to come home. It was a really great day and I can't wait to go back and explore the rest of the city.

Little Lady Lois,
So glad to see you growing beautiful and strong, a veritable English rose bud! I am a friend of your Grandma Vickie, Grandma Liz and Grandpa Eddie, and I loved looking at all your photos, but was especially glad to see Grandma Vickie got to see you on your birthday! Love to you, Mummy and Daddy, Sammye Sylla
