My Grandma from America came for a visit this week so she could be here for my birthday. She has been to England a few times now and has never been to London so we thought we would go for the day and see the sights. We took the train down to the city and then got on the Tube to go to the Londond Eye. That is nowmy favourite thing in the whole world! I loved looking down at the river and seeing all the boats. They looked so small from way up there and it made me feel like a giant. I wasn't scared at all.After going on the Eye we took a walk through St. James's Park to Buckingham Palace. We went through a little of Hyde Park and then took the Underground to Oxford Circus and popped into some of the shops. Before we knew it, it was time to come home. It was a really great day and I can't wait to go back and explore the rest of the city.
That's right, I am now one year old. I can't believe how fast my first year of life has gone. I am not a baby anymore, I am a little girl.
I had fun opening all my presents and I had cake and ice cream for the very first time. You can tell by the look on my face how much I liked it. 
Two days after my actual birthday I had a party with my friend, Lauren, who was born on the same day as me. There were lots of people there and they all sang "Happy Birthday" to us. It was fun having someone to share your birthday with.
